Skyline Gallery was recently acquired by Jeff & Brenda Velasco. We are committed to providing outstanding service and building lasting relationships with our clients.
Jeff, a fourth generation Tucson native and graduate of Catalina High School and the University of Arizona, has been a fine jeweler in Tucson for more than 30 years. He started working with precious metals in the early 1980s. He opened his first small jewelry store on Speedway and Campbell in 1983 and has steadily grown his fine jewelry and precious metals business over the years–finally relocating to an historic 1938 Tucson adobe home on Campbell Ave. just north of Grant which he transformed into the current full service showroom and shop which is Viir Jewelers. Jeff is also known for his love of water polo, which he still plays competitively nationally and internationally.
Brenda has been in marketing and health care administration in Tucson for nearly 30 years. She shares Jeff’s passion for precious metals, colored gemstones, and fine art. Both have been collectors and students of fine and hand-crafted art for many years.
Together, we are excited to participate in supporting local, regional and North American artists and artisans. We will maintain the high standard of service and quality that Skyline Gallery is known for and will continue to represent many of the well-known artists, such as Tom Philabaum, Robert Cook, Jeffrey Zigulis, Josh Simpson, Alex Sepkus and Syndey Lynch, that clients have come to love. We are also committed to identifying and bringing in new artists in new mediums, including Cynthia Miller, a highly regarded copper and glass enamel artist, and Jeff Parrish and Spencer Edgington, emerging metal sculpture artists—all currently Tucson artists.
